So i wanted to make jewelry.
I started off researching tonnes and wasnt quite sure how i would mix plain ol’ laser cutting of acrylic with another craft style fabrication. I ended up cutting a million diamond shapes that were the same out of three different sheets of perspex. RED, YOLK YELLOW and SEE THROUGH RED. i then glued the same shape that was cut many times together with plastizap(available from the counter at melb artist supplies) and then sanded the facets onto each diamond with the band sander in the workshop. for the delicate edges around the holes i had to hand sand them. phew!
but i have to say, this is really only the beginning for my jewelry adventures
